We ride because it’s fun, it’s healthy and it’s good. We all feel like kids when we ride. I want my son to know from a very early age how wonderful cycling can be and the joy and happiness such a simple activity can bring to your life.

The result of reluctantly leaving one of the best towns (Pittsfield, IL) with the most generous people who were able to host a group of 31 crazy cross-country cyclists. Our mission was to raise money and awareness for affordable housing and we did so from Providence, RI to San Fransisco, CA. On this day we found ourselves on a stretch of gravel in what seemed like the middle of nowhere with a lone wind turbine. Always an adventure.

I ride because it puts a big fat smile on my face! This was taken on the 2010 STP ride from Seattle to Portland. My girlfriend and I had never ridden a century before and we did it two days in a row. Worth every mile!

Taken earlier this year after my boyfriend and I got our first road bikes. Quite a difference from the Xtracycles we normally ride. We love to ride any bike for any reason and it’s a great way to spend quality time with each other.
