Thursday Morning Commute: After the Storm

We had a highly unusual winter-like storm come through the other day. It felt like winter on Tuesday, fall yesterday, spring today, and we’re expecting highs in the triple digits this weekend. I just can’t get over the strange weather we’re having this year.

I’m not complaining too much, it keeps the air clean, and makes the pine tree scent stronger.
Something you just don’t appreciate as much in a car.
You have definitely become a master of bike pronography. Keep it up much longer and the car pron guys might start to worry about you.
@kfg
;-) Thanks…
Winter? You mean the temperatures hit -10F? Wow. Sorry, anything above 40F here in the northeast is heaven on two wheels.

We Californians are notorious weather-wimps. ;-)
Once upon a time I was trying to make sense of Grant Peterson’s recommendations for riding in the winter cold. Quite atypically they didn’t seem to make much sense at all; then it hit me – he was talking about temperatures as low as 50!
Live in NY, but not so long that it makes you hard. Live in SF, but not so long that it makes you soft. :)
