Describe your commute: I do occasionally commute the whole distance but because of the distance, some unfriendly roads, and my very early start time I have decided to try splitting my commute a couple days a week, driving halfway and riding the other half.

Describe your bike and accessories: Surly LHT, Brooks B17, Nashbar panniers, Zimbale saddle bag, Deore drivetrain, XT/mavic wheels.

What bit of advice would you like to share with new bike commuters?: Hydrate
