Pedaling Through the Color Spectrum

Art Show

The openings for our bicycling-themed art show went really well this weekend. Both the “Evening with the Artists” and the “Second Saturday Art Walk” were well-attended and successful beyond our expectations. For all of you who made it out to say hello and see the show, thank you! It was amazing to receive so much support from friends, family, and the local bicycling and art communities. If you weren’t able to make it this weekend, but you’d still like to see the show, the works will be on display through June 3rd.

Information about the show:

Pedaling Through the Color Spectrum
Featured Artists: Marbo Barnard, Alan Barnard, Steve Cook & Gina Rossi

Bicycle enthusiasts rejoice! “Pedaling through the Color Spectrum” is an exhibit dedicated solely to the bike. We enjoyed the show Allan. The photos look great on line but there is no substitute for seeing them full size, framed, and well lighted. Your Mothers pastel paintings were very nice also. Keep up the good work.

I had the good fortune of attending this event on Saturday. As Don alluded to above, as enjoyable as seeing Alan’s work on a computer screen is, it was great to see it in a larger format together with other bicycle-themed creations. Marbo’s art and interpretation on this topic was a treat to see and experience as well. For those of you that enjoy Alan’s work and are close by the midtown area of Sacramento, this exhibit is well worth a visit.
