Great photo, Alan. Thanks for keeping on posting these beautiful images. Also the light reflection off the bike is great. In Toronto we have “active” weather. Yesterday I got completely soaked during my afternoon commute. The main rainfall lasted only a few mintues, but it was like standing below Niagara Falls. Now it’s cloudy and the wind is blowing in gusts up to 80 km/h (50 mph). That’s a headwind to my afternoon commute. Hopefully it will calm down by then.
you always have such great pictures of this beautiful path. I was recently visiting the south bay area and am wondering where this bike path is. And do you have any other resources or bike routes in the area? I had a chance to ride up on in Saratoga and then later on Canada and Skyline Rd parallel to 280 and was so happy riding there.
cheers, and thanks for all the great pictures!
I hope that wind settles down before your evening commute!
It’s one of a number of similar paths in the suburbs surrounding Sacramento. If you’re ever in the area, you have to take time to ride the American River Parkway trail:
It’s a beauty… :-)
For some reason I thought you were in the Bay area! I was in Sac last weekend, and it’s a delightful little city. perfectly wonderful for biking, at least compared to very hectic Boston!
Thanks for the map — I’ll do that next year when I come back…
Your Bryant looks like it has changed color.
And what is that bright light on the horizon? Seems like nothing but clouds, wind and rain for the last month around here.
