That’s certainly a great incentive for avoiding flats. I feel bad for the guy who misses the source of the first flat and has to do it all over again.
As important as alignment is for belt drives (or so I’m told), it might have been nice for Civia to include a “don’t do it this way” negative example to clarify what is to be avoided and why. That said, their tensioner and frame joiner seem to integrate pretty well.
