  I’m hoping to save up for a Hillborne frame in the near future. Anyone know if carrying 3 classes worth of textbooks would be a problem?

  Steve; if your 3 classes require you to carry enough books that they won’t fit in the front basket pictured, plus a Wald 570 rear basket, plus a frame bag, plus a backpack:

  It could be a problem.

  Beautiful! I route the gear cables under the bar tape like the brake cables shown. Looks cleaner.

  I also appreciate the sidepull brakes – “Sidepull Sams” seem to be a rare breed!
  @ Maurice. I do the same routing as you, and much prefer it, but a lot of Rivs I’ve seen have the flying whisker cables.
