Because I like doing things the hard way. Because it makes me feel alive. Because I love my husband’s helmet hair, like a stegosaurus. Because I like the way the world looks from the seat of a bicycle. Because I like to see things up close, even trash. Because I like to meet people up close. Because it is the only thing that makes me feel like a bird and an ant all in the same day.
