Workweek Decompression Ride.
My workweek is usually filled with pressure to meet deadlines, frustrating rework, and attempting to please my bosses and clients. After work on Friday I head up the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina, and enter the small town of Blowing Rock. There’s a windy, hillside road called Wonderland Trail, and this snapshot was taken at one of the overlooks. It’s a super fun road to ride because we pretend we’re racing in the Tour, with crowds lining the sides cheering us on. By the time I get home I’m ready to be human again, decompression successful.
