Glenn Budak’s Photo Contest Entry
One of the reasons I enjoy riding my bicycle is to be in the moment. I love when all the factors are just right and my bicycle disappears beneath me. In this meditative state I see beauty in the smallest things and everything about my world is good and right. My bicycle brings me peace of mind and comfort.

Nice.
Best so far, IMO. Is that Stanley Park?
Very nice.
You hear that? That’s the sound of the bar being raised. Great shot.
Daaaang, gorgeous. Where do you all live?? Shoot.
Great photo.
When I saw this post on my feed list, I had to do a double take because I thought it read “Glen Beck’s Photo Contest Entry.” And while I can’t imagine Glen Beck riding a bicycle, I think he would probably appreciate this photo because the founding fathers all rode bicycles through misty forests on their way to the constitutional convention (little known fact). But instead of helmets they wore white powdered wigs.
aah.. get me there now.
Very nice.
@ Eric: Funny!
Is that near Lincoln Blvd in the Presidio, SF?
Wow! what a shot, looks like the Oregon Coast or perhaps Chuckanut drive near Bellingham WA to me. Wherever it is pictures and words are brilliant thanks for posting
Nice, I hadn’t noticed fog and mist before commuting by bike. Awesome light.
Wow. I love the lighting. Must be a beautiful place to ride!
The fog makes this photograph wonderfully mysterious. Good job, Glenn!
Beautiful.
Really nice light and composition. I love California, at least those parts like that…
I like the placement of a 2nd biker at the intersection ahead.
Location : Golden Gate National Park, Presidio San Francisco… Early Sunday Morning
Thank You for all the kind comments.
Glenn
Adam, I didn’t notice the 2nd cyclist until you mentioned them. That just makes this photograph even better!

I don’t know what is better, the wonderful qualities of this composition or the perfect capture of the moment. When both are presented in the manner you have demonstrated, it makes for the perfect photograph. This is a GREAT capture!
