    Mike Havran’s Photo Contest Entry

    I like bikes, riding in the rain and European history; and subways and travel and photography. This day in Munich, November 9th, 2009, the 20th Anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, was a perfect storm when it all came together for me…the gravity of the moment was intense, otherworldly…and that’s why I ride!

      Pamela, that is in Munich Germany, a commuter lot for bikes outside a subway stop; see escalator in the background and the people moving toward it. It was 9 Nov 2009, the 20th Anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. A day with alot of gravity for the German people.
