Sac Cycle Chic

Somehow, after all these months, I neglected to add our friend Lorena’s website to our blogroll, so instead of unceremoniously adding her site to the list, I thought I’d take a moment to point out the good work she’s doing here in Sacramento.
Lorena runs the Sac Cycle Chic blog, our local spin-off of the worldwide phenomenon started by Mikael Colville-Andersen in Copenhagen. At Sac Cycle Chic, she encourages others to use their bikes for transportation by covering the fashionable side of practical bicycling.
Lorena is also a tireless bike advocate who has a talent for connecting people and bringing attention to local bicycling issues. Her recent Vélo and Vintage fashion show was a great success that brought a ton of attention to the midtown cycling scene.
You can find Sac Cycle Chic in the sidebar under “Advocacy” and “Blogs” (or simply follow the link below).

Wow! It’s great acknowledgment and privilege to be mention on your website; especially coming from a person so dedicated to the bicycling community in Sacramento.
Thanks for the love!

Yes Doug, that’s me. Alan caught this picture just as I had rolled out of bed.
