Wow, that’s a terrific deal! If only I had the funds and space….
What size is the Pashley?
@Venus
It’s the medium size (20″).

Darn, if only I were smaller, lived in Northern California and had a spare $900 :)

Details, details… ;-)
My girlfriend has exactly the same bike with exactly the same panniers (which, btw, are not cheap at CDN$230). Unfortunately her bike has been parked in my dining room for 5 months, unloved. Makes me cry to look at it. Anyway, the Princess Sovereign is a gorgeous bike and this is a great deal. Someone should snap it up. I’d buy it if I didn’t already have one in my dining room.
Why is Michael selling? What bicycle will she be riding instead? Was there anything about this bicycle she didn’t like? So curious about this and just had to ask.
Very good deal btw.
@Shelly
“Why is Michael selling?”
We tend to churn through bikes and other gear as part of what we do here. Changing up and trying different bikes and accessories provides us with a broader perspective that better qualifies us to comment on new products as they become available.
“What bicycle will she be riding instead?”
She recently purchased a Rivendell Betty Foy. She also regularly rides our daughter’s SE Lager SS, and we have a RANS recumbent tandem that we occasionally ride.
“Was there anything about this bicycle she didn’t like?”
Nope, not at all; she still really likes it. It was a tough decision to sell it, but the new Rivendell will serve essentially the same purpose as the Pashley, so it makes sense to let it go at this point.
