I had many great rides this summer, most in beautiful sunshine. However, I joined a group of fellow BikeForum.net members on a Pittsburgh to DC ride along the GAP and C&O Canal. It was the highlight of the summer. And like most events in life, one tends to remember the events that had adversity. We rode in heavy rain from Cumberland to Hancock in rain & mud for 60 miles. A tough day, but one that I look back on and smile every time I see this picture of my bike. Great ride – Great companions!
