Lovely Bicycle!’s Endless Summer Entry
This photo of our vintage three-speeds was taken this August at Marconi Beach on Cape Cod, just as the afternoon sun was about to set. The colours of the dunes, water and sky were absolutely mesmerising and there was a feeling of timelessness. The bicycles are a 1972 gentleman’s Raleigh Roadster and a 1970 Raleigh Lady’s Sports, lovingly restored.

the color scheme reminds of the bike I learned to ride on. My older brothers’ Schwinn Typhoon. What a Tank, which was probably a good thing since I learned to pedal before I learned about turning…….
ahh the Cape… my long lost home. I know this location well and I love how the bikes look like they are canoodling with each other ;)
