I’m amazed at the number of excellent entries you’re receiving. How will you judge this? :-)

Me too! I couldn’t be more pleased.

Fortunately, I have a few friends and coworkers who are well-qualified to judge a photo contest (all either designers or semi-pro/pro photographers). It’ll take a little arm twisting, but once they see the quality of the entries, I’m pretty sure they won’t be able to resist. Since none of them are cyclists, they should be able to provide unbiased judging based upon the merits of the photos without being influenced so much by the type of bicycle/bicycling depicted in the photos. We’ll use a numbering system where each photo is given points based upon artistic content, technical content, creativity, etc. I think it will work well and is probably about as fair a system as we can devise.
