Honestly, I kind of wanted Bike Snob to tear them all a new one through their flannel plus fours. Alas, he only mentioned them briefly in a comparison to bamboo bike builders yesterday.
Despite the nostalgia of the clothing it is more practical than wearing tight stretchy pants for fun!!!! I’m buying a wool cap to go with my wool sweater and knickers……oh! and my leather loafers. What fun! Cheerio old chap!!!!
I might add that with all those smashing looking caps and nary a helmet in sight, I wonder how in the world these chaps protected their noggins?

I wonder how long this cruise was? I’d reconsider wearing tweed for a long journey.
