  Funny, and kind of ironic. The first time he was in a vehicle after 15 years was when he was hit by a car while riding a bicycle and they wanted to take him away by ambulance. He wasn’t seriously hurt and convinced the paramedics to let him out so he could walk to the hospital! I heard him talk about it in an interview on the BBC last year.

  Thanks for posting this. I was inspired to look into TED and found a free application that allows you to view all the TED content, including videos, on the iPhone. Great thinkers there.
