Not just “fixed gear” but “direct drive fixed gear”- no chain! I cringe thinking about an endo from that height. This “quadriplegicator” line of bikes went extinct for good reason.

I had the opportunity to ride one of these about a year or so ago. Pedal steer was terrible. Maybe shorter cranks would help. The short ride went well enough UNTIL I decided to dismount. Forgetting that it was direct drive, I went to dismount from the pedal, thinking it would stay put while I came to a stop. BIG MISTAKE.
I even have a rather embarrassing picture to prove it. No, I don’t plan to post it.
It was fun to try, but once is enough for me. There are still a few things I want to do before I die.
