All bicycles weigh fifty pounds. A thirty-pound bicycle needs a twenty-pound lock. A forty-pound bicycle needs a ten-pound lock. A fifty-pound bicycle doesn’t need a lock.

One Response to “WSJ on Bike Commuting”
Excelent video! I’m so envious of those places where you can bike to work. I live in Caracas, Venezuela, and here the main drawback for cycling is not climate but crime. But in other places of the country, bicycles are just another transport. In the city of Cumaná, where half of my relatives live, bicycles are a common sight. Of course, people who want to boast about how wealthy they are use cars, but bikes are everywhere in the city, and are widely use for errands around the neighborhood.
