Gallery: Marty’s Trice Model T Pickup

Attached are Pix of my Model T Pickup Trike. It took me 10 minutes from concept to design. It comes with an in dash MP3 player and speakers. A spare piece of cardboard and some tape and I was off to buy some plants and things. Of course I had some room for a couple bottles of wine to relax with after a hard day of planting. —Marty

WOW!! What a great job! The iPod and speakers are fitted so well it looks like an OEM option. And cycling with the scent of fresh flowers should be an uplifting experience.

Great job! I’ve often thought of exactly this sort of trike to run errands and ride around town in style but unfortunately, I don’t feel comfortable riding a trike where I live.

That’s a lot more practical than the sound system I currently use when I ride my bike:

my sound system consists of staying up all night listening to my favorite songs (and new ones) over and over til they’re stuck in there. my fresh flower system consists of..i don’t have one.
awesome-good idea. i used to have a beat up pick-up truck recumbent REBIKE. and as part of a moving crew, i’m IN the back of a pick-up truck alot lately

You’re right Andy, if you get enough songs stuck in your head you can become a walking (or cycling) iPod. You’ll ride up on your ‘bent and everyone will be all like, “Look, it’s iAndy! That’s a funky beat!”
